My Poshmark Side Hustle
How I made over $1,000 on Poshmark by cleaning out my closet I have had a Poshmark account for over three years, but it wasn’t until the last year or so that I actually started making sales. For those of you who don’t know what Poshmark is, it’s a marketplace where people can sell both new and used items they no longer want. About a year ago, I was moving out of my apartment, and I really needed to get rid things that I was no longer wearing. I was shocked when I found myself wanting to get rid of items that still had the tags on it. I mean,…

My First Spin Class
I know what you’re probably thinking: it’s 2020, how are you just now taking a spin class? Well, I’ll tell you, it hasn’t been easy to avoid it all these years (kidding). Over the years, I have done my fair share of group fitness classes, but for some reason, spin has always eluded me. It wasn’t until I moved into my new apartment building that I really started getting into the idea of attending a spin class. Enter: Peloton. My building has two pelotons in the apartment gym, and I quickly became addicted. It was nice for me, because it wasn’t intimidating attending an on-demand class where no one can…

What to Discuss Before Moving in with your Boyfriend
Before I dive in, I want to start by saying, moving in with your boyfriend is a BIG step, and as big as it is, it’s also really exciting! In the midst of the excitement, it’s easy to forget about the important things you need to discuss and plan for before move-in day arrives. Set yourself up for success before the big day, and give it some thought. As a bit of a background, about a year ago, my boyfriend was offered a job in Massachusetts–we were currently living separately in Pennsylvania. Having dated for 2 years at that point, we gave it a lot of thought and discussion and…

4th of July Packing List
It’s summer time! Which means one thing: 4th of July is right around the corner. When I say I love the 4th, I LOVE the 4th. It’s always been a fun week for me because my birthday is a few days after, so it’s a great time to take off work, reset, and enjoy some time with friends and family. This year is no different. For the last 5 years of so, it’s been a tradition to head down to the Jersey shore for a few days and relax on the beach before celebrating with my family in Pennsylvania. The hardest part for me has always been packing. How do…

10 Best Philly Restaurants
Who doesn’t love philly restaurants? I lived in the suburbs of Philadelphia for just about my whole life before moving to Boston this spring. While it was perfect timing in that I moved before the COVID-19 craziness broke out, it was unfortunate that I haven’t been able to explore the Boston restaurant scene. To cope with the fact that I can’t go out to eat and to also prepare you for the soon-to-be bustling Philly restaurant scene, I give you my list of 10 favorite places to eat in Philadelphia. 1. Gustos Hands down the best pizza I have gotten in the city, and since my boyfriend’s apartment was right…

Nespresso Essenza Mini Review
One of my favorite things to do pre COVID-19 was to wake up early, walk to a local coffee shop, and order one of their specialty lattes. One of my favorites ended up being a lavender latte, and I highly recommend it if you like vanilla lattes! It's not too sweet, but it's a little something special if you're trying to switch it up.
